Customer Policy

At Ring Of Gullion Cycles, we are committed to treating all of our customers with respect, dignity and understanding. We recognize that some of our customers may be considered vulnerable and may require additional support to ensure they can fully access and benefit from our services. As such, we have implemented the following policy to provide additional assistance and support to our vulnerable customers:

Identification of Vulnerable Customers:

  • We recognize that vulnerability can be caused by a range of factors, including age, disability, health conditions, financial circumstances, or any other reasons. Therefore, we do not require our customers to disclose any personal information to identify themselves as vulnerable customers. However, we encourage our customers to let us know if they require any additional assistance or support.

Accessibility:

  • We strive to make our shop and services as accessible as possible for all of our customers. We have a wheelchair ramp and ensure our store layout allows for easy navigation. We also offer home delivery and home set-up services for our bikes to accommodate customers who may not be able to visit our store.

Assistance:

  • Our staff are trained to identify and provide additional assistance to vulnerable customers. We are happy to offer extended appointments or private consultations for vulnerable customers who may require additional time or privacy.

Communication:

  • We will communicate with vulnerable customers in a clear and concise manner, taking into account their individual communication needs. We can also arrange for an interpreter or provide written materials in large print or braille if required.

Safeguards:

  • We have implemented safeguards to prevent abuse or exploitation of vulnerable customers, including staff training on safeguarding, record-keeping of vulnerable customers and their needs, and implementing clear procedures for handling and reporting any safeguarding concerns.

Feedback and Monitoring:

  • We value feedback from all of our customers, including vulnerable customers. We encourage our customers to share their experiences with us, and we will monitor and review our vulnerable customer policy regularly to ensure it remains effective.
